Davis safely reunites with family in US

Fiji's lone professional female footballer Trina Davis has safely reunited with her parents in the United States following a terrifying week trying to escape the escalating conflict in Gaza.

Earlier today, Davis posted on her Instagram account “Glad to be back home safely.”

The 19- year-old who plays for ASA Tel Aviv in the Israeli women’s football league had to return to Seattle a month early due to the Palestine and Israel conflict which escalated recently.

When the air strikes took place in Tel Aviv and Gaza, Davis was staying with an American family in Tel Aviv and made early arrangements to return to the US.
