Mid-season transfer window to open in July

Fiji Football Association's mid-season transfer window which was scheduled to open tomorrow has been deferred to July.

Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf confirmed the transfer window period has been deferred to the last week of July after being approved by their Board of Control via flying minutes.

“The mid-season transfer window will be from 15-31 July, subject to the approval from FIFA Transfer Matching System,” said Yusuf.

He also mentioned the transfer window will follow strict rules as per last year.

“We want to protect all the districts that are continuing to look after their players during this second wave of the pandemic.”
