Nadi FA continue food drive fundraiser

The Nadi Football Association has again set up a food drive campaign to assist their players who are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coach Shalen Lal said some of their players depend on football for a source of living but since sporting activities are on hold, the fundraising drive is to assist the players and their families.

“This is something that we have been doing and it’s to help our players and their families during this pandemic. The association understands that most of the players' families depend on football and in this due course we want to help them.”

“We treat their families as ours and I want to thank the president and our sponsor Easy Kool for coming on board and assisting the player’s during this time when the whole nation is facing difficulty.”

A grocery box has been placed at the Nadi football Office and at the Nadi Mobil Service station where people can drop off any groceries or other kind donations.
