Nadi footballers receive food packs

The Nadi football association has rolled out its player welfare program contributing  20 ration packs for its 20 players.

The distribution of the food pack started from 30th of April and players received the second phase of the distribution this morning.

In a social media post on Facebook, the Nadi football board stated that players who could not leave their containment zone were delivered with their food packs.

Team striker Rusiate Matarerega acknowledged the association for providing food packs to help the players during the pandemic.

“On behalf of me and my whole family, I would like to thank these officials for giving money from their own pockets and helping the players and family during this very very hard time.”

“Firstly our president Ashwan Singh Manager Abdul Khan and not forgetting our former manager Kamlesh Sami...Vinaka for your kind hearts and it is our prayers that the good God will bless you and your families abundantly.” He said.
