Fiji FA urges players and officials to get vaccinated

The Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel is urging all footballers and officials to get vaccinated before the resumption of football activities.

Patel says ‘no jab means no football activity and also says they are considering the safety of players and also fans.

He also mentioned that Fiji FA is following the government protocol in getting the players jabbed.

“We are requesting the football districts and officials to get the players vaccinated so that we are protected and that we also have to consider the fans that come out in numbers to support the players.

As a sporting organisation, we want to put out the best and do our part during such a pandemic. Players who get vaccinated now will also get time to rest.”
