Krishna wanted by clubs of 7 nations

Fijian striker Roy Krishna may well be playing in another nation after clubs from seven countries made offers for his services.

His wife and agent Naziah Ali- Krishna, in an exclusive interview with FijiLive, said offers have been received from clubs in the  United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, England, and India for his next signing.

Ali-Krishna said due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are still in discussion with the seven clubs and his former team ATK Mohun Bagan.

“We still haven’t finalised any deals yet. There has been more interest but we are taking our time to decide based on the COVID-19 and the effects on the countries these offers are coming from.”

“India seems to be improving. The next season for most leagues doesn’t start until September. So we have a lot of time remaining to decide and come to a conclusion. It’s also difficult to make a decision because some leagues have reduced player salaries too.”

“We still in talks with various agents. But we need to make sure that we weigh everything before deciding,” she added.
