Sau seals 2 year contract with Provence

Fijian Sledgehammer Eroni Sau has signed a two-year contract with French Pro D2 club Provence Rugby.

In the 2017/2018 season on the world rugby sevens circuit, the Fijian winger became one of the best players in Fiji before joining Fijian Drua.

That season, Sau scored 33 tries in 57 games and won the award for best tackle on the circuit, statistics that earned him the nickname "Blacksmith's Hammer" for the power he exudes on the field. Certain media, like Rugbyrama, do not hesitate to speak of him as “the new star of rugby sevens.”

Later in 2018, Sau joined the French club Perpignan and a year later he joined Edinburgh.

Sau is also part of Flying Fijians extended squad that will face the All Blacks in two tests next month.
