Sivo, Koroisau face NRL charges

Parramatta Eels winger Maika Sivo and Penrith Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau are facing NRL charges over foul play in the weekend.

Sivo faces a suspension for his high shot on Tigers centre Adam Doueihi at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday while Parramatta teammate Isaiah Papali'i has been fined for contrary conduct.

He has been hit with a grade two careless high tackle charge and will miss one game with an early guilty plea or two matches should he fight the charge at the judiciary and lose.

Papali'i was charged with grade one contrary conduct for dropping his knee onto Luciano Leilua's head, which will result in a $1150 fine should he accept an early guilty plea.

Hooker Apisai Koroisau was the only player charged from Friday's games, and is facing a fine over a tripping charge on Sharks halfback Shaun Johnson.

Koroisau faces a $1500 fine if found guilty at the judiciary or a $1150 penalty if he enters an early guilty plea.

Melbourne five-eighth Cameron Munster was charged with grade one contrary conduct for an incident involving Warriors skipper Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and will be fined $1700 if he accepts an early guilty plea. Should he challenge the fine at the judiciary and lose, the fine would increase to $2250.

The other two players charged on Sunday were Tigers pair Luke Brooks (dangerous throw) and Tom Amone (contrary conduct).

Broncos forward Kobe Hetherington is facing a fine after being sent off during his side's loss to Canberra on Saturday night.

Roosters hooker Ben Marschke and Titans back-rower Kevin Proctor are the two players facing suspension.

Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves ($1900 - $2550) and Knights back-rower Mitchell Barnett ($1350 - $1800) join Hetherington in facing fines.
