Wainiqolo signs with Toulon

Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo has signed a three year contract with French Top 14 giants RCT - Rugby Club Toulonnais.

Wainiqolo was part of the Fijian Drua in 2018 and 2019 and made his debut for the Flying Fijians against the Barbarians in Twickenham in 2019 where they registered a 33-31 victory.

Last year, the former Ratu Kadavulevu School student was drafted in the Fiji 7s extended squad.

The 22-year-old joined the Life After Rugby Barbarians alongside star players like Jerry Tuwai and Pio Tuwai and played consistently in the Super Sevens Series this season.

He is currently in Brisbane with the Fiji 7s team preparing for next week's Oceania 7s in Townsville.

The speedster is also in contention for a place in Fiji's final team to next month's Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
