80pc Rewa footballers vaccinated

80 per cent Rewa football players have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Confirming this, Coach Roderick Singh said some players who are in the Fiji Police Force and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces are fully vaccinated.

He said players who have taken their first jab should be fully vaccinated by next month.

Singh said they anticipate football activities to resume in August and  also mentioned that their officials are also vaccinated alongside the players for their safety and well-being.

Players who are yet to get their first jab are expected to complete the process by the end of this week.

Rewa will face Nadi in an away fixture of the Digicel Premier League when sporting activities resume.
