Chand joins Frankston Pines FC

Former Suva and national midfielder Nickel Chand has joined Melbourne based Frankston Pines FC which features in the Victorian State League in Australia.

The 25-year-old who hails from Nabilo settlement in Korovou, Tailevu started his career with Northland Tailevu at the age of 14 before moving to Suva and going on to represent Fiji at the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015.

Chand also represented Labasa and Lami and featured for the Australian All Stars in 2018 Pacific Cup in Sydney, Australia.

He will join fellow Fijians Tito Vodowaqa, Peni Tuigulagula, Savenaca Baledrokadroka and Asaeli Batikasa at the club.
