Football hopeful for October start

The Fiji Football Association is looking forward to resuming their football competitions in late October.  

Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf says they are currently working on the mid-season transfer window applications.

Yusuf said Fiji FA will also have to look at the current pandemic situation then only football can resume in October.

He said if the COVID-19 cases deters, they might resume the competitions and start off with the tournaments behind closed doors.

He also said their target is to try and get the Digicel Premier League to resume so that they are able to complete the competition by the end of this year.
