Kumar a boost for Rewa: Singh

Rewa football coach Roderick Singh says former Suva midfielder Ivan Kumar is a big boost for the side for the remainder of the season.

Singh said Kumar has a lot of potential in him and is fully aware of his roles and responsibilities.

“Ivan is a very determined and hardworking player who gives his entire best on and off the field. We have seen him play and he does the job well.”

“Of course, he plays according to the game plan and always has a target to achieve. He has got the skills and talent in him. He’s an experienced player who has played in Fiji and also in New Zealand for South Auckland Rangers.”

“He has been given his training guidance and knows the certain areas which he needs to work on. He has got the ‘go-to do’ attitude and gives his best in finishing the task he takes up,” Singh added.

After round six of the Digicel Premier League, the Delta Tigers are second with 11 points following three wins, two losses and a draw.

They will face Nadi in an away match of round seven of DPL.
