Matarerega applies to join Nadroga

Former national striker Rusiate Matarerega has applied to join Nadroga for the remainder of this season.

The 28-year-old Bavu villager's application is still being processed by Fiji Football Association.

Matarerega was used as an impact off the bench in most of Nadi's matches in the Digicel Premier League as Coach Shalen Lal opted to start Sakaraia Naisua and Napolioni Qasevakatini.

Meanwhile, Nadroga has also applied for the release of Epeli Saukuru from Nasinu while youngster Rahul Naresh's contemplated move to Ba has been rejected by Fiji Football Association.

Nadroga will meet Navua in Round 7 of the DPL when football activities resume in the country.
