Suva wants to bounce back to winning form

The Suva Football side wants to bounce back to their winning form upon the resumption of round seven of the Digicel Premier League.

Suva is currently sixth on the table with seven points after two wins, one draw and three losses but team director Ravinil Narayan is confident they will return to their winning style.

He said the capital city is working on their finishing and they need to start scoring from round seven.

“We have already started doing our preparation and as round seven resumes, we need to start scoring. Scoring was slightly an issue for us but with the players given enough time to train, I believe they have got the fitness level in them to start defeating teams.”

"We want to get back to our winning spirit like last year and our goal is to win the league back-to-back again this year. The players and staff are working towards that goal and I believe in the effort the boys are putting in."

“Our finishing was not as good as we hoped for but then when we go back and reflect on the games then we started off well by beating Rewa. Our defence and attacks have been solid and just scoring is something we need to start doing,” he added.

Suva will face Ba in round seven of DPL in an away match.
