Begg is a star of the future: Kumar

Ba President Rynal Kumar has labeled young striker Nabil Begg as a star of the future.

The 17-year-old Kamil Muslim College Year 12 student scored the winning goal over Suva yesterday and Kumar said they had confidence in the youngster.

“He is a product of our youth development programme. He has been representing Ba from the U12 grade and has been very consistent.”

“He has a lot of passion and pride for the Ba jersey and we are proud to have young players like him in the team.”

Kumar said Begg was able to train with the team from last Monday after getting fully vaccinated.

“I would say he was lucky to join the team in training just on Monday after getting his second jab.”

“He is one of the many young players we have in our squad and we will be fielding more youngsters in upcoming matches.”
