DPL to resume on 23 October

The Digicel Premier League will resume on 23 October.

Confirming this to FijiLive, Fiji Football Association chief executive Mohammed Yusuf said the DPL will recommence with Round 7 fixtures.

He said only fully vaccinated players and officials will be allowed to be part of a match with CareFiji App installed in their phones.

He has also mentioned that the full vaccination card plays an important role for the association and players will need to show their full vaccination card in order to be part of the league.

Yusuf has also made it clear that players found breaching any protocols on the ground will be taken to task.

He said after reaching the 80 per cent target, they are also hopeful that fans coming to watch the games will also follow the protocols.
