Kamal Swamy is new Nadroga Coach

Kamal Swamy has been appointed Nadroga's head coach.

Swamy, who turned 51 in the weekend is the most experienced coach at district level in the country and most recently he coached Ba.

The Korovuto College teacher has coached almost all the premier districts in the Digicel Premier League and his signing should lift Nadroga in its remaining matches.

Nadroga boss Mohammed Ali confirmed Swamy's appointment and said he took charge of the team from today.

"He joined the team early this morning and has begun to train the players at the Kulukulu school ground. He is aware of his duty and knows what he has to do. We are last in the league and with his guidance, we hope to remain in the DPL next year as well."

Moshin's Insulation Nadroga will meet Navua in the bottom of the table clash this Sunday at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

The match will kick off at 4.30pm.
