Playing style is also important says Serritslev

National football head coach Flemming Serritslev says the national team camp will allow the players to adapt to one playing style.

Serritslev said while they will be focusing on fitness level it is also important for the players to understand the game plan and how they could execute the plan on the field.

He said they will be working on applying the game plan on the field with a different playing style.

Serristlev said the game style is playing fast combinations and fast game on the ground.

The Oceania World Cup Qualifiers will be held in March next year and Serritslev says players should be ready ‘on the go’ and battle down the tough teams.

“We will not just be looking at fitness which we know is vital in sports but this camp will also help the players to better understand the game play and style of playing. We want players to adapt to one playing style and bring about a team understanding and bonding.”

“What we want to see from the players is that when we lay out the game plan, they should be able to understand what it is and how it should be executed. These players are all experienced and they are aware of what will happen in this camp.”

“During the world cup qualifiers in March, we want to see players having on the go and to the go attitude where they are ready to kick in and do the required job. These 14 players come with huge experience and most of them know the atmosphere of playing at an international arena,” he explained.
