Suva Futsal to field youngster

Suva will field 19-year-old Ayush Kumar in its Digicel Futsal League fixture against Nasinu at the FMF National Gymnasium tomorrow.

Team manager Shelveen Kumar said Kumar is a budding player and  will be an asset for the Whites in the near future.

“Ayush is our latest inclusion and will be a player to watch in the match against Nasinu tomorrow. He is a young player and is adapting to our playing style. He has got fast speed and ability to adapt to our game pattern.”

“The development of young players and giving them the right exposure at the right time to become more competitive is very important in the growth of the players. He has been contributing his speed and capability well in the team,” Kumar added.

Another youngster Mohammed Zumir Ishrat will not be part of the team as he is currently in Labasa.  

Suva Futsal features the likes of Filipe Baravilala, Shahil Dave, Atunaisa Naucukidi and Rewa rep Bruce Hughes.

Suva will meet Nasinu at 8pm.
