Women's League to restart on 30 Oct

The Digicel Women's Super League 2021 will resume at the end of this month, confirms Fiji Football Association's Competitions Manager Amitesh Pal.

Pal said they have six rounds of competition remaining.

“We are very fortunate that the virus has been contained due to a massive vaccination drive by the Ministry of Health and we hope positive easing of all other restrictions that are currently in place,” Pal told Fiji FA media.

He said they have revised the fixtures which will resume in October and conclude in early December.

“Labasa Women will resume their competition rounds from 13/14 November due to current quarantine restrictions when traveling to Vanua Levu and will catch up two rounds of competition when they start traveling.”

He added that all players must be fully vaccinated to participate in the competition.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday, all teams now can start their training in adherence to the Fiji FA Covid 19 National Protocol requirements.”
