Work on all aspects of game: Rabele

Fiji Bati Head Coach Josaia Rabele says they will have to train on all aspects of the game ahead of the 2022 Rugby League World Cup in England.

Rabele said every particular area of a game is of importance considering the fact that Fiji has been unable to play any Rugby League game this year.

He said players need to be trained at their position and also on the game plan that will be executed at the World Cup.

“Training will be based on every part of the game. It will be from top to toe so that players know what they have to do at the World Cup and how they have to. We can't just focus on one area because all areas are important.”

“We will be playing against tough teams and for that, we will have to start early preparation. We will try to get some work going as we look forward to holding a camp so that players come together and we get to see their fitness level.”

“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic we were not able to have any competitions and that reminds us to start off early in 2022. One of the main areas of concern will be player fitness and that is the first part we will work on,” Rabele emphasised.

He also added the doors for the Fiji Bati is always open for new local-based players.
