Labasa eyes back to back wins

Labasa Coach Ravneel Pratap says playing two Digicel Premier League matches in a space of three days will be tough but he is confident of registering back-to-back wins against Navua and Nadi.
Pratap said although the side will miss the services of some key players, he is confident the young guns will step up and give in their best.
He said both the matches are crucial for them and their target is to remain undefeated.
“Everyone is aware that seven of our players will not play due to work reasons, cards and discipline. But we have some young players in the team who are given an opportunity to step up and perform well.”
“Yes, the young players have been training with the team and Taniela, our veteran star, has been guiding them also. They are nervous because they will be playing two games over two days but they are excited also.”
“We have told them to put their entire concentration level on the field and not to lose focus. Navua could be tough because they are bottom and would definitely want a win and Nadi is not little as well.”
He has also requested the Labasa fans to support the side as they will play at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
“Some of our fans in Labasa were hoping for both the matches to be played at Subrail Park but due to the ground condition we will host the two teams in Suva. I would like to ask our fans to please come to the stadium and support the boys.”
“Cheer for them and your support will boost them. Your support and love will encourage the players to give their best. The team will arrive in Suva on Friday afternoon and will go for warm up and get into the field,” he added.
Labasa will play Navua at 7pm on Friday and meet Esy Kool Nadi at 1pm on Sunday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
