Nadi ends Labasa's unbeaten run

Labasa's 9-match unbeaten run in the Digicel Premier League came to an end today as the Babasiga Lions were beaten 1-0 by Nadi at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Midfielder Tuiba Batiratu netted Nadi's winner in the 65th minute after connecting well with a through pass from Captain William Valentine.

18-year-old Nadi goalie Tevita Ravia was the toast for the Jetsetters as he denied Labasa from scoring throughout the encounter.

Esy Kool Nadi now has 14 points after 12 matches while Labasa is on 15 points after 10 appearances.
