Rewa quartet sign with Tailevu Naitasiri

Tailevu Naitasiri football team has secured the services of  four Rewa players to boost its campaign in the Premier Division.

Veteran goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau, veteran defender Usaia Tadu and youngsters Epeli Valevou and Mohammed Naizal have joined the Nigel Khan coached side.

Khan told FijiLive that the quartet have begun training with them since Monday and they will be valuable assets to the team.

"The four boys just joined the training on Monday and they are showing a lot of interest in the team."

"They have adapted well with the Naitasiri boys in the team."

"Usaia is a very experienced player although he was out of football for some time but now he is back in business. We believe in him which is the reason we got him in the team."

"We saw Simione's game and thought that there is a need to strengthen our goalkeeping area. So he will have a huge impact in the team."

"Likewise for Epeli he is a very talented striker and just needs more game time. Mohammed Naizal is also a good player who was part of the national Under 17 team and has a lot of capability in him."

"There are other players who have shown their interest in joining Naitasiri and we are currently working on their application."

"Our only motive now is to have a good backline who can defend the ball well. The players and officials have hit the ground and began the preparation for DPL," he added.
