PNG names final squad for qualifiers

Fiji's Group B opponents Papua New Guinea have named their final 24-member squad for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 202 OFC preliminary competition which will be played in March.
The Marcos Gusmao coached side will feature a mixture of experienced and new talents.
Overseas-based players Tommy Semmy and Gimala Essacu have also been included.
Semmy, who currently plays in the A-League with the Newcastle Jets, and Western Illinois University product Essacu are included as the only non PNG-based players.
Hekari United FC midfielder David Muta has been named as the Captain and is joined in the squad by five of his club teammates.
The preliminary competition kicks off on March 17.
PNG's other opponents in Group B are New Caledonia and New Zealand.
PNG squad:
Goalkeepers – Ronald Warisan, Russel Chris, Ilai Ilarova. 
Defenders – Alwin Komolong, Felix Komolong, Philip Steven, Joshua Talau, Daniel Joe, Koriak Upaiga, Emmanuel Airem, Gimala Essacu
Midfielders – David Muta, Emmanuel Simon, Jacob Sabua, Yagi Yasasa, Michael Foster, Pala Paul
Forwards – Stahl Gubag, Ati Kepo, Obert Bika, Raymond Gunemba, Mathew David, Patrick Asia, Tommy Semmy
