Third placed Ba football is improving their defense ahead of their Digicel Premier League match against Lautoka tomorrow.
The Men-In-Black thrashed NZOTC Nasinu by 3-nil on Sunday and newly appointed head coach Imdad Ali says they have to better their defense and ball play.
"Lautoka is always a good team to play with most of the national team reps there."
"We have to be fast and we need to keep a strong ball possession because we know Lautoka will come firing."
"Right now we just lack in our backline and that’' something we want to better before the match tomorrow."
"At times our defenders leave their position and run to the front so that's when the opponent starts to take advantage but we want the players to stick to the game plan and structure."
"We will be banking on our regulars because these players have played Lautoka before and they are aware of the physicality of the match."
The Ba vs Lautoka match kicks off at 7.30pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.
