Blues prepare for Ba clash

Defending champions Lautoka are preparing well for their fifth Digicel Premier League match against Ba at Churchill Park on Wednesday.

The Anginesh Prasad coached side handed Tailevu Naitasiri their third consecutive loss yesterday after a 2-1 win.

Prasad said while the side is boosted by the win, they still have to make some minor amendments before the mid-week match.

"Yes, we are good to play in the mid-week because for any given time we have to be ready."

"There's no doubt that Tailevu gave us a good match yesterday and they showed us some of our errors and weaknesses.

We lacked our pressing and midfield badly and that's where Tailevu took advantage and scored so we have to improve on those areas.”

"These three days are very important for us to prepare ourselves while we have the services of experienced players while our youths are also playing a huge role in the team."

"Ba will also bring a solid team and playing against them is always a big rivalry not because we are neighbours but because of the physicality of the match."

The Lautoka vs Men-In-Black match kicks off at 7.30pm.
