Dawai ready for Drua

Fiji born Highlanders winger Mosese Dawai said he was hoping for a chance to run on against his kinsmen this weekend.

The 24-year-old from Nakorotubu Village in Ra said although he was happy with how far the Fijian Drua had come but says he is ready to do his part.

“If given a chance I am ready to run against them,” Dawai told FijiLive.

“It will be an awesome feeling to play against them seeing them in Super Rugby, but I still have a task to do and may the best team win.”

Dawai joined Super Rugby this year joined the Highlanders after impressing Premiership winners Waikato

He added he was ready to hit Suva City after their first training session at Albert Park today and sample some of the food at the Suva Market.
