Defending champs JK Nadi veterans in Group B

Defending champions JK Nadi Veterans have been drawn in Group B of the 2023 RC Manubhai/Apco Coatings International Veterans Tournament today in Raiwaqa.  
 
They will contest with one of the overseas based team's NZ Lautoka masters and three local teams that are Lautoka masters, Navua masters and Suva combine masters.
 
Fiji Football Association chief executive Mohammed Yusuf said this year a total of 2022 teams will be participating in the week-long tournament with five teams from overseas.
 
The five teams are Victoria masters, Sydney legends, Brisbane Bula Boys, NZ Labasa masters, NZ Lautoka masters.
 
Yusuf said  funds raised at the tournament will be utilised to support the children of the former football players in the country.
 
He also added that having the tournament from the 2nd to 5th of June at Lawaqa Park will help to raise the economy in Sigatoka.
 
In Group A Victoria Masters have been drawn with Rewa masters, Nasinu masters and My Suva legends.
 
Group C has Brisbane Bula Boys, Fiji Westerns Kings, Labasa masters, Northland masters and Nadroga legends.
 
Group D is headed by All Stars Sydney, Rewa Legends, Suva city masters and Nadroga Stallions
 
And in Group E, NZ Labasa masters will face Ba legends, Nadi legends and Nasinu legends.
 
The Tournament will be played simultaneously with the Digicel Fiji FACT semi-final and final round.
