22-year-old Swire Shipping Fijian Drua lock Chris Minimbi is banking on Naitasiri fans to back him up against the Highlanders this weekend.
Minimbi said Naitasiri is his rugby home and he is hopeful that Drua fans from the highlands will come down to the ANZ Stadium to support him and boost his performance.
"Naitasiri is my Skipper Cup home."
"That's where I began my rugby in Fiji and through that team I was able to get a spot in Drua."
"Personally for me, when I feature against the Highlanders, I would love to see the fans support."
"When I played in Skipper- I saw that Naitasiri has a big huge crowd coming from the villages in Naitasiri to back us up and I'm really uruging the fans to come and show us the same support."
"I'm sure if they come out and cheer us, we will give our best performance and try to beat the Highlanders this week."
The Drua vs Highlanders match kicks off at 4.35pm at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Saturday.
