Islanders inspire Nadi win

Solomon Islanders Barrie Limoki and Jaygray Sipakana scored a goal each as Nadi outclassed Navua 4-2 in their opening Group A match of the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

Limoki opened Nadi's account in the 11th minute after neatly finishing off a through pass from William Valentine which was flicked on by Rahul Krishna.

Stylish midfielder Eshaan Kumar doubled the lead in the 39th minute with a powerhouse attempt which gave goalkeeper Senirusi Bokini no chance at all.

The All in One Builders Nadi led 2-0 at the break and replacement Tuiba Batiratu rifled in their third goal in the 58th minute before Navua replied with goals to Isake Naduvu and substitute striker Brian Charitar in the 62nd and 65th minute.

Sipakana had the final say of the match with a beautiful finish in injury time.
