Lautoka Coach Anginesh Prasad says Navua will play commanding football on its home turf this Sunday and they will take a cautious approach against the Southerners in Round 11 of the Digicel Premier League.
Speaking to FijiLive, Prasad said the Blues suffered a 2-1 loss to Navua in the Fiji FACT and they are expecting the same level of challenge from the Saiyad Ali coached side.
Prasad said playing at the Uprising turf will be a difficult task for his youth players.
"Navua can turn things around."
"They defeated us in the Fiji FACT and we know the threat they will pose."
"They can be threatening because they will be playing on the turf and will have fan support."
"During Fiji FACT we saw that Navua had a good defence and for us, it was difficult to go past that."
"I'm sure they will turn up good again this week because every team will want to defeat us as we are climbing the leader to defend our league title."
"The only challenge is that some of our young players are not adjusted to the turf at Uprising."
"Our senior players have experienced playing at the turf several times over the years whereas most of our youth players have not," he added.
Lautoka travels to Uprising Sports center to play Navua at 3pm on Sunday.
