Tawake, Kumar to miss Nadroga clash

Newly appointed Nadi Head Coach Viliame Toma has confirmed that defenders Josua Tawake and Ashneel Kumar will miss the clash against Nadroga in Round 11 of the Digicel Premier League on Sunday.
Toma says the two players sustained injuries in their 1-nil win against Tailevu Naitasiri last week but he said the youth players will step in their positions.
"They will miss the Nadroga match because we can't risk them."
"The injuries are minor and they should be back in the game next week.
"During the team training, we saw the performance of our youth players and they will fill in the missing gaps."
"We had some youth players already starting while some will be given game time this week."
Despite Nadroga having fan advantage, Toma Said the jetsetters are ready to beat them and register back-to-back wins.
"Our aim is to record wins and we know what it's like playing Nadroga."
"They are not new to us."
"We played them in the first round and it will be difficult to beat them at their home but we are going for the win."
"The only rectification we had to do was on our scoring."
"I think we are slow in taking advantage but we have been working on that and I'm sure the players will put Nadroga to test on Sunday," he added.
A1 Builders Nadi plays Nadroga at 3pm at Sigatoka’s Lawaqa Park on Sunday.
