Top Rewa midfielders Tevita Waranaivalu and Iosefo Verevou are nursing knee injuries are curently in doubt for next week's OFC Champions League qualifer against Lautoka.
Coach Roderick Singh said Waranaivalu picked up a knee injury in Fiji FACT while Verevou got injured during the Digicel Premier League and was rested during the tournament.
"We have just two injuries in the team and the first one has been Iosefo but the latest injury update is of Tevita."
"He got injured during one of the pool games at the tournament in Sigatoka. It’s not a new injury for him as well."
"It's just a recurring injury but he has been under medical observation."
"To be fair to all players, it's a matter of how fast and how well they recover before the first play-off next week."
"Their recovery will determine their spot in the team and we have some good players who could replace them also."
"We are just waiting for their medical result and once we see the extent of their injury and recovery, then their decision to play will be made," Singh said.
The Delta Tigers will travel to Churchill Park to face Lautoka in the first playoff at 7 pm next Friday.
The return leg will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori next Sunday at 3pm.
