Aru joins Men in Black for BOG

Traditional football giants Ba have secured the services of Vanuatu international midfielder Claude Aru to boost their campaign at the Punjas Battle of the Giants tournament next week.
 
Ba football secretary Illiyaz Khan confirmed to FijiLive that Aru, who departed Vanuatu yesterday afternoon joined the team early this morning.
 
Khan says Aru brings huge experience and will add depth in the side while the star has played for Shepherds United in the Port Vila Football League and currently he plays for North Efate United.
 
Khan also mentioned that they are trying to sign two more players ahead of the tournament next week.
 
He added the three players will be part of the team for the remainder of the 2022 season.
 
The Men in Black are in Pool B of BOG with Navua, defending Digicel Premier League champs Lautoka and defending BOG champs Rewa.
 
The tournament will kick off at Lautoka's Churchill Park next week.
