DPL survival is a boost for players: Singh

Tailevu Naitasiri football secretary Sushil Singh says their survival in the Digicel Premier League is boosting them to perform better in the Courts Premier Division Inter District Championship next month.
Singh said the players fought tooth and nail to stay in the Premier Division and will need to repeat the same to win the Premier Division IDC despite being drawn in Pool A with Digicel Senior Division Viti Levu champs Tavua and Nadogo.
"We managed to survive in the Premier and that’s something the players are taking positively."
"It’s boosting and motivating the team to once again lift our performance and get a better result in the IDC."
"We have been drawn in a good Pool with Tavua and Nadogo."
"Tavua being the champs of the senior division Viti Levu zone, definitely they will come out firing."
"Nadogo also will bring good competition."
We are expecting tough matches’ but the team is preparing well."
Meanwhile, Pool B has Nasinu, Rakiraki and Seaqaqa.
The Courts IDC will be played from the 5th to the 10th of October at the HFC bank Stadium in Suva.
