Navua to iron out defensive mistakes

Navua is working on defensive mistakes and aims to field a more steady and organised lineup against unbeaten Rewa in Round 18 of the Digicel Premier League on Sunday in Nausori.
Coach Saiyad Ali says conceding three goals to Suva in the second half after a good display in the first spell surely indicates that they need full match fitness and good mental preparation to last the full 90 minutes.
Ali said playing a star-studded team like Suva wasn't easy and his side wilted under pressure, especially in the second half.
"We played a tough team like Suva with some seasoned and quality players."
"Playing against tough teams like Suva and our next match, we just have to work on our mistakes."
"There were several of them against Suva where in the first 45 minutes we were really holding them but after the break, things didn’t go our way."
"So it’s the little mistakes we make in our game and our finishing that cost us and we have to face that."
"It was difficult to defend and that’s where we made mistakes which backed us out in the second 45 minutes."
"I think we really need to work out on our finishing part of the game and our mistakes."
"We have been given game time to our young players and against Suva three of them featured."
"They still need game time and in time to come they will be prepared well."
The Rewa vs Navua match kicks off at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park.
