We countered Suva's game plan: Kubu

Nadi's match winner Siotame Kubu says they had to understand Suva's game plan to counter them in their Digicel Premier League Round 16 1-0 win over the Whites yesterday.
Kubu told FijiLive that they came for a win and Coach Viliame Toma singled them to read Suva's game plan.
"Like the coach always said that after Fiji FACT every DPL match became important for us and we had to make sure that we stay in contention for the title."
"Things were locked at goalless, the coach told us to understand the way Suva played."
"We had to read their game plan and keep a close eye on their structure."
"The main thing was to win the one-on-one balls and we did that really well."
"The boys came really well prepared for a win and we wanted this win."
"Yeah, Suva was a tough team to beat but once we understood what they were offering us, we just got into the game and countered them."
"For me, this is my first goal and I’m happy about it. It was teamwork and it's for my team because we all worked hard for this," Kubu explained.
The All in one Builders/ KKs Hardware Nadi play their next match against the NZ Fan Club Labasa this weekend.
