Bumper crowd expected in IDC

Fiji Football Association is expecting a big crowd at this year's Courts Inter District Championship that will be played from 5-10 October at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf said a football tournament will return to Suva after 23 months with 20 affiliated teams taking part in the championship this year.
"It will be an electrifying atmosphere because the last time Fiji FA had a football tournament at the Stadium was in 2020 at the Courts IDC and then we were hit by COVID that did not allow us to host any football tournament."
"So having the tournament will be a feast of soccer. It is a big thing for the people and also the 20 affiliated districts as part of the tournament."
"This will be the biggest and very exciting tournament in two years for Fiji FA and we know a lot of people will be coming down to watch the games."
"We will have competitions running from mid-day or some days at 10 am and we are expecting a jam-packed stadium till we reach the finals day."
"The fans will not be left behind as we have made the ticket prices affordable for the people," he added.
The ticket price for the Grandstand is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
For the cement and embankment sitting the ticket price is $10 for adults while children under 12 will have to pay $5.
