Nadi pair fly out to Aust for further studies

Nadi pair Eshaan Kumar and Ashneel Kumar will not be part of the team's campaign at the 2022 Courts Inter District Championship which kicks off in Suva tomorrow.

Team manager Sunil Singh told FijiLive that the duo opted to further their studies and departed the country for Melbourne yesterday.

Singh said the duo's departure from the team will not affect the side's campaign at the IDC.

"Eshaan and Ashneel had informed us about their studies so we released them from the team."

"They have gone for a three year study program to Melbourne and yes, they are always welcome to come and play for Nadi."

"Their absence from the team won't have any impact because we have some quality and senior players who will replace them."

"The two did a great job with Nadi football and we wish them all the best," Singh added.

All In One Builders Nadi opens their campaign against Nadroga at 1pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva tomorrow.
