Police district players ready for Pacific Cup

Police football team Captain Akuila Mateisuva and his troops are eager to join up with their district sides for the All in One Cakes & Restaurants Pacific Community Cup.
After leading the Al-Hamd Smart and Living side to their fourth consecutive FMF Sukuna Bowl Challenge title, Mateisuva said he and the other district players in the Police team were already packed and ready to travel to Nadi tonight.
“The Pacific Cup kicks off this evening and all the boys representing at district level will be missing out on the first game, right after this we will be travelling down to Nadi,” Mateisuva said.
Mateisuva said the exposure in the Sukuna Bowl, had allowed them to get a feel of game time before tomorrow’s round of games at Prince Charles Park.
“It will build good relationships and morale for the players to go and continue the same form for their districts tomorrow."
