Trio dropped from Nadi's IDC squad

Nadi football has dropped three senior players from its squad ahead of their campaign at the 2022 Courts Inter District Championship kicking off in Suva tomorrow.

Team manager Sunil Singh confirmed to FijiLive that attacker Tuiba Batiratu and defenders Vuniuci Tikomaimereke and Patrick Ralulu have been dropped from the squad.

Singh said the players have been dropped due to discipline issues and lack of fitness level.

"Five of our players will be missing out at the IDC. Two have departed for studies in Australia (Eshan Kumar and Ashneel Kumar) while the other three have been dropped due to their discipline."

"They also lacked the fitness level but we have strong shoes to fill the missing spots in the team."

"Right now Andrew Naicker, Samuela Kautoga, Noa Vukica, James Hoyt, Mohammed Shuib and Ashwin Raju have joined the team."

"After the BOG the players went back to New Zealand to play for their respective clubs but they joined us again for IDC."

All In One Builders Nadi will open their IDC campaign against Nadroga at 1pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva tomorrow.
