Tailevu Naitasiri leads Senior League

Tailevu Naitasiri is leading the Digicel Senior League after thrashing Lami 9-0 at the Uprising Sports Centre on Sunday.

Solomon Islander Stephen Kwaitee starred the win and netted three goals in the first half while Kavinesh Lal and Mosese Nabose scored a goal each as they led 5-0 at the break.

A brace of goals in the second half by former Labasa and Rewa midfielder Abhishek Deo and a goal each by Rusiate Qio and Sikeli Tuiloma wrapped up the big win.

The Nigel Khan coached side now has 10 points while Nasinu is second with 8 points after settling for a 1-1 draw against Tavua on Saturday.

Meanwhile Rakiraki defeated Northland Tailevu 1-0 in another match played on Sunday.
