Botitu extends deal until 2023

Former Fiji sevens pivot Vilimoni Botitu has extended his deal with French Top 14’s club Castres Olympique until 2023.

Arriving at the start of the season from Fiji Sevens, the Fijian center won the World Rugby Sevens Series in 2019.

He gradually established himself as an essential element of the Castres three-quarter line.

A very complete player with in particular great support qualities and a keen sense of the game, Castres Olympique is very happy to be able to count on Vilimoni for the next two seasons.

The 22-year-old joined Castres last year and his contract was to end this year but the extension means, he will spend more time with the club.

Castres will meet the Bordeaux-Begles in a French Top 14 match at 12.45am tomorrow.
