GB wins women's title in Vancouver 7s

Great Britain claimed the women's title of the Vancouver 7s at the B.C Place today after thrashing USA 34-12 in the final.

Capped 19 times for Wales, an outstanding Jasmine Joyce scored a brace of tries in the opening minutes of the match for Great Britain.

USA quickly replied through experienced Summer Jones and young gun Jes Greig before Joyce set up the third try for Emma Errand as Great Britain led 19-10 at the break.

A quick tap and kick by Ebby Brown saw Joyce pick up and score a hat-trick in the early second spell but conversion missed.

Young speedstar Grace Compton and veteran Emy Wilson added the last icing on the cake.
