Jamaica had a good experience: Serevi

Rugby sevens legend Waisale Serevi said Jamaica had a wonderful experience playing at Vancouver 7s over the weekend.

Serevi said the country has potential rugby players but they need more exposure to 7s rugby.

He also mentioned playing against tough 7s teams in the world has created a lot of impact on Jamaica 7s rugby association.

“I’m enjoying. It’s a good challenge.”

“They have good and strong athletes but they need to get fit for rugby tournaments. They need to be exposed to more tournaments and playing; players have gained some experience and a lot of rugby 7s knowledge.”

“More tournaments like this will get them to a better level. The players understand the game but it's more than a game and they will surely get better at this soon.”

Meanwhile, the Edmonton 7s will be played in Canada this weekend.
