South Africa remains on song

South Africa remains on song in Edmonton 7s and looks set to clinch the 2021 World Sevens Series.

The Neil Powell coached side thumped Kenya 33-7 in the second semifinal this morning and will face Great Britain in the final.

A brace of tries from Captain Siviwe Soyizwapi and one from Muller du Plessis set the platform for the Blitzboks while Jeffery Oluoch scored Kenya's try just before the break as South Africa led 19-7.

Du Plessis got on the score board again in the second half and hardworking Ronald Brown also got a try to wrap up the impressive win.

The final will be played at 11.28am.
