Saukuru, Matarerega adapting well: Ali

Former Rewa midfielder Epeli Saukuru and Nadi forward Rusiate Matarerega are adapting well in the Nadroga football side confirms team president Mohammed Ali.

Ali said the duo came in the July transfer window and already began their training with the side at the Kulukulu school ground in Sigatoka.

He said the experience of the two players will boost the morale of the team.

“They both are experienced and know what is expected from them. They have been giving their best during the training session which began recently and we are seeing some positive changes in the team.”

“They are adapting to our atmosphere and have been told of our game plan and playing style. The two players are also being guided by the senior players in the team.”

“They will be tested in the bottom of the table clash against Navua next week. We are hopeful for a win because we don’t want to finish last. We have come a long way and need to improve a lot,” he added.

Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga will face Navua next Sunday at the Uprising Sports Ground at 3pm.
