Gold medalist welcomed by Bayonne Rugby

Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Sireli Maqala arrived at his new rugby club Aviron Bayonne yesterday afternoon.

The club confirmed the arrival of Maqala on their website this morning.

The site wrote that “Aviron Bayonnais Rugby Pro, which has never doubted Sireli Maqala's willingness to meet his commitments, is delighted to welcome him to its team. The same goes for the club's partners and supporters who welcome him to Bayonne, in the Basque Country.”

Meanwhile, Maqala is impatient to discover his new club for which he intends to give the best of himself.
